there is a poster by my elevator that tells what can't be in the building. One of the things is animals, but in parentheses it has small fish are allowed.... that made me want a small fish. so i went and got one.
when i went to walmart i wanted a boy fish, cause i am a girl, and we needed testosterone in the apartment. but when i saw my selection of fish to choose from, the boys were ugly. so i decided on a girl. i named her Chlydtessa, i call her Chlyd for short (secretly a boy in my mind still) i took Chlyd home and put her in her new home... and ever since then we have been enjoying each others company.
only problem is i think Chlyd has turrets... Chlyd is a Betta fish, so she is a tough one... even bit my finger once... anywho, she randomly will jerk around in her bowl. moving the pebbles she has in the bowl, and jetting around like something is wrong with her... it is very concerning, as well as very entertaining.
i know if you are not satisfied with your product that you can return it and get a full refund, but i think i will keep Chlydtessa, even though she could possibly have turrets.
no worries. my roommate has a beta fish too, (her name is ariel...i think...but i call her chomper) and she does the same thing. especially if you touch her bowl, she'll FREAK out. it is so entertaining. also, if you stick the tip of your finger in her water, she'll bite your finger. that's why i call her chomper. it is awesome.
